It is a necessity of all art students at Sac State to experience one class with Tom Monteith. He's hard to understand sometimes but every time I go to class I learn something new. I finally created something I felt was decent enough to post. I'm learning a lot about how to build form, creating space, seeing value, and being able to see color. I still don't work fast enough and once the main part of my painting is relatively "done" I tend to just flounder about but at least I know those are things that I have to change.
