my first encounter with printmaking

I took a relief printmaking class in the fall of 2015. I fell in loooooove with relief printing!!! The sound of ink being rolled onto the glass, the methodical process, the strain on your wrist, I love it all! You will see many more prints (because I took 3 semesters of it and hopefully I will be able to create more in due time). These are some prints made during the beginning class.

art blogging as a lumpy pillow

Hello everyone! My name is Manda. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am an art student who is trying to find her place in this wonderful world of art. Art and Design has been my passion for years. I have been meaning to create a blog for a really long time. Since the new year started, I have been more progressive in scanning and photographing a lot of my work. As a lumpy pillow, I tend to flop and not post as much as I should so hopefully that does not happen. I hope you enjoy it!
